Pausing for Vacation
Many of us take vacations in the summer.
It is a time to slow down, relax,
pause and do nothing.
Many of us feel guilty or
that we do not have time to slow down.
We will get further behind.
It is this down time that rejuvenates and energizes us.
It sparks our creativity and joy.
Doing nothing means doing no thing.
It is like the pause on the DVD player.
You do not move forward or backward.
You do not have to leave town.
You can relax in your backyard,
read a book or nap on your couch.
I encourage you to turn on your pause button
and enjoy the consequences.
