Leadership Tip
Covering the Court Can Create a Strong Team
My cardio tennis instructor
keeps telling us that
everyone on the court
has to move toward the ball
when our opponents return it.
We cannot stand and admire
our good shot.
We have to be prepared
for the next return shot.
This is a good lesson off the court.
As a team player we have to
back up our colleagues
by knowing where they are on the court
and keeping our eye on the ball.
Being in sync creates a powerful team.
We also have to anticipate
what is coming and be able
to respond assertively.
You don't have to be
a good athlete to apply these lessons.
You just have to LOVE
creating a strong team
that is likely to win.
