Memorial Day Acknowledgement
I have been in Boston
over the weekend.
Walking the Freedom Trail
and seeing historic sites
truly transports you back to the
Revolutionary War period.
You get a sense of the
challenges, emotions and patriotism
that were so strong.
We would not be the country
that we are today if not
for the courage and spirit
of these men and women.
We would not continue to be
the country that we are today
without the courage, commitment
and willingness to serve that all of
our military men, women and their families
show, and have shown, over generations.
On this Memorial Day,
let us acknowledge them
and express our appreciation.
