We think it will never happen. We put deposits into the emotional bank accounts of everyone else. We take care of others often at our own expense. Unlike the FDIC which insures bank accounts, we have to ensure our own account. We can start by doing the following: Exercise Get enough sleep Eat for energy Honor your schedule Set boundaries Say no when you really want to Eliminate negative self talk Remove or reduce contact with toxic people in your life This list seems simple. Pay yourself first and you will sustain against emotional bankruptcy and other challenges.
