Honoring Martin Luther King
Last week I talked about
the importance of
dreams.
Today we honor a man whose
dreams changed our nation.
Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream
that
inspired millions to
create a vision of what could be.
His
passion, commitment and persistence
show how one person can make
a difference.
While we may not be making change
on the
scale of Dr. King,
we do have the power to
create a dream and
inspire others.
We can each make a difference.
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
We honor Martin Luther King, Jr.
for
awakening us to his dream.
