Leadership Tip
Celebrating Choice
As the 4th of July approaches we
think of our Founding Fathers and their courage to express
freedom and the choices they made as citizens in a new land.
It was bold. It took passion. Choosing
independence can be a challenge. Giving voice to our desires
and following up with action takes courage.
Whether speaking up in a meeting, starting a
new career or opportunity or expressing your feelings to a
colleague or loved one- all are ways of expressing beliefs,
independence and choice. They can be bold and require passion
and conviction.
We are always at choice. We sometimes forget
this in the midst of circumstances. As we celebrate our
country’s independence, remember to value your own freedom to
choose.
If our Founding Fathers had forgotten their
freedom of choice, we would be speaking with British accents.
Thanks and gratitude to our military who continue giving us and
our country the freedom to choose.
Happy Independence Day!
